Note I — The Brief
Dream
We start with your brand's soul, not a mood board. What should a guest feel in the first thirty seconds, and the last? We find the moment worth making.
A creative studio for experience products
We're the studio behind the small, deliberate things a guest takes home in their memory: the minibar worth raiding, the welcome ritual that lands before check-in does, the scent they'll spend a year trying to name. Experience products — developed and curated for hospitality and lifestyle brands with taste to spare.
What We Make — The Enclosures
You've nailed the architecture, the lighting, the playlist. What's left is the part guests actually pick up, pocket, and talk about. That's our department — developed, sourced, made, branded, and delivered ready to place on the shelf. Nothing off-the-rack. Nothing plain.
Not a price list — a point of view. The midnight craving, edited and stocked to your brand's taste.
The moment that lands before check-in does. An arrival worth photographing, designed to set the tone.
The bath line, the bedside object, the thing on the desk. Chosen and made so nothing feels standard-issue.
A bespoke fragrance for the lobby, the linen, the candle by the bed — the smell they'll try to name for a year.
The small nightly surprise people have been known to pack in their suitcase. On purpose. We take it as a compliment.
The take-home extension of the treatment — bottled, boxed, and ribboned so the calm travels with them.
A branded shop-in-stay that earns its square footage: objects worth a return trip, not a gift-shop afterthought.
The custom commission and the right-maker partnership — from the keycard sleeve to a limited run with a name guests already love.
We write the small print of a great stay.
How We Work — The Correspondence in Four Notes
Note I — The Brief
We start with your brand's soul, not a mood board. What should a guest feel in the first thirty seconds, and the last? We find the moment worth making.
Note II — The Edit
Concept, form, and finish. We sketch the object and the ritual around it — then argue about the paper stock until it's right.
Note III — The Make
Sourcing, sampling, small-batch makers. The unseen work: the trials, the rejects, and the version that finally feels inevitable.
Note IV — The Delivery
The moment, in a guest's hands. On-brand, on-time, ready to place. You get the credit. We sign off.
Specimen — Read the craft
Dear Operator, Dear Curious, Dear Future Collaborator,
If your guests notice the difference between fine and unforgettable, we should be corresponding. We work with the people responsible for how a place feels in the hand.
The Address Book — a selected index
…and a few we're not allowed to mention yet. P.S. The guest remembers the small things.
The Edit — Recent Correspondence
Each piece, the way you'd read a styled shoot: the object, the brand, the ritual, the materials. Swipe through.
No. 01 — The Arrival Ritual
Bergamot + sea salt welcome rite / for a Cotswolds members' club / linen, brass, hand-poured wax.
No. 03 — The Departure Gift
The turndown object guests pack on purpose / for an alpine resort / merino, leather, letterpressed card.
No. 04 — The Signature Scent
A bespoke house fragrance / for a city restaurant group / fig leaf, cedar, a whisper of smoke.
You've thought about everything a guest will see. We think about everything they'll touch — and the one thing they'll text a friend about from the airport.
A stay is a sequence of small, deliberate gifts. The scent in the corridor. The object on the pillow. The first thing handed over at the door. Get those right and a room becomes a memory; get them wrong and the best architecture in the world still feels like a hotel.
We develop and curate those moments. We source the makers, sweat the materials, brand the box, and deliver it ready to place. You get the credit. We sign off.
Nothing off-the-rack. Nothing plain.
Yours, in good taste,
— Dear Jane
Dear Us — About the Studio
Dear Jane began with a stubborn belief: that the smallest thing in a room can carry the whole feeling of a place. We're makers and taste-makers — part atelier, part editor — who develop and curate the physical moments inside a stay. We don't follow the trend toward sameness. We're the opposite of plain Jane, on purpose, in everything we sign.
We source, sample, and make. Real objects, real makers, real material decisions — not a moodboard handed off.
We have a point of view and we use it. Taste is the service; the object is just where it lands.
